At De Vette Mossel, most of our dishes are prepared right in front of you on open fires, adding to the magic of the experience.
Our menu offers a feast like no other – 7 courses, 13 dishes, served rolling buffet style.

1. Freshly baked Pot brood (pot bread) served with farm butter and sweet apricot jam

2. Mussel meat with onions, lots of garlic and farm butter

3. Mussels in half shell steamed with onions & white wine

4. West Coast Snoek with Sweet sweet potato – West Coast style

5. Seafood pot with 3 types of fish calamari strips, mussels and prawn tails

Rice: for those who want to catch the sauce
Garden salad: we seldom talk about salads
Vegetable dish with milk and cheese: even Karoo farmers tuck in

6. Meat potjie (for those who don’t eat seafood)

7. Water Melon and Sweet Melon or Tropical Fruit (slides down your throat)

8. Coffee and Koeksisters with South African Rooibos tea
